Terms of Use

Last updated: 6 September 2026 Version: 2026-09-06-v1.50-r2

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to Wintira’s Joy of Painting AIO Tool (“the Service”, “the Tool”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

The Service is operated by Wintira, an independent individual operator. Contact: Discord: _phantom215.

By using the Service, creating an account, or storing projects online, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Wintira’s Joy of Painting AIO Tool is a currently free tool made to help with image preparation, palettes, painting guides, progress tracking, recipes, and other tasks related to Minecraft’s Joy of Painting mod.

You can use the main features without creating an account. Accounts are optional and provide features such as online project storage, progress syncing between devices, and access to multiple saved projects.

Most of the Tool runs directly in your browser. If you choose to use an account, the information we store for the account and its projects is limited to:

The Privacy Notice describes these records and separate security and analytics processing in more detail.

We try to keep the amount of account information we collect as small as practical.

The Tool is an independent community project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang, Microsoft, or the creators of the Joy of Painting mod.

2. Using the Service

The Tool is intended for anyone who is able to use services like this under the rules that apply where they live.

If you are young enough that your country requires permission from a parent or guardian to use an online service, please use the Tool with their permission.

3. Accounts

You do not need an account to use the basic features of the Tool.

If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password and recovery code secure.

Accounts use a username and do not require an email address. If you forget your password, account recovery depends on the recovery code supplied when the account is created or recovered.

If you lose both your password and your recovery code, we may be unable to restore access to your account.

Please do not:

We may require usernames to be unique and may reject, rename, or remove usernames that are abusive, deceptive, unlawful, or clearly intended to impersonate the Service or its administrator.

4. Recovery Codes and Passwords

Passwords and recovery codes are intended to be known only by the user.

The Service stores passwords and recovery codes only in protected hashed form and is not designed to display the original password or recovery code after it has been set.

A recovery code may be shown once when generated. You are responsible for saving it somewhere secure.

Generating a new recovery code may invalidate the previous one.

5. Your Projects and Uploads

Guest/browser project images and painting progress stay on your device and are not uploaded to account storage. When you sign in and use cloud/account features, online saving and cloud autosave can upload the open project, its image, settings, and progress. Signing in with a project already open can start cloud autosave. Account records, project metadata, settings, and progress are stored in Cloudflare D1; cloud project images and thumbnails are stored in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket. Cloud projects are accessible through account-authorized requests and are not published in a public gallery.

The palette simplification feature sends color names, hex values, color counts, and the requested palette size to the server for processing, including during guest use. It does not send the source image or painting progress through that endpoint.

Projects and images uploaded to your account are intended to be private project storage.

The Service does not currently provide a public gallery or public project-sharing system.

You remain responsible for the content you upload.

Please do not use the Service to store content that is unlawful or that unlawfully infringes the rights of others.

Uploading content does not transfer ownership of that content to us.

You give us only the limited permission necessary to operate the Service. This includes permission to store, copy, process, resize, convert, transmit, back up, and display your content back to you as necessary to provide the Tool and its cloud features.

We do not gain the right to sell your uploaded artwork, use it for advertising, publicly display it, or claim ownership of it merely because you uploaded it.

6. Content That Should Not Be Stored

Projects are private, and we do not routinely review what people upload. We do ask that the Service not be used to knowingly store content that is unlawful.

This includes, where applicable, material such as illegal sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, content whose possession itself is illegal, malicious software, or material being stored or used as part of serious unlawful activity.

Please also do not use the Service primarily as general-purpose file hosting for unrelated material.

The Service is intended for painting projects and related project data.

7. Keeping the Service Safe

To keep the Tool safe and usable for everyone, please do not intentionally:

Good-faith security testing should not be performed against the live Service without permission.

If you discover a security issue, you are welcome to report it using the contact information below.

8. Storage and Backups

Cloud storage is provided as a convenience and should not be treated as the only copy of important work. The operator currently makes no separate backups and does not promise that provider-managed recovery will restore deleted or lost projects.

We do our best to keep cloud projects safe and available, but no online storage system is perfect. Keeping a downloaded project file for anything especially important is a good idea.

We may use reasonable limits on project count, storage size, file dimensions, request frequency, or other resource usage so that the free Service remains practical to operate.

If limits change materially, we will try to make them clear within the Service.

We reserve the right to remove inactive accounts or projects when reasonably needed to manage capacity, costs, security, or changes to the service. No fixed automatic inactivity-deletion period currently applies. Where practical, significant cleanup will be announced in the tool and users will be given time to export their work, subject to any notice required by law. Urgent security, abuse, legal, or infrastructure problems may require earlier action.

9. Free Service and Availability

The Service is currently provided free of charge.

We do not promise that it will always remain available, remain free, or continue to provide every existing feature.

Features may be modified, replaced, limited, temporarily disabled, or removed where necessary for maintenance, security, cost, technical limitations, abuse prevention, or development.

There may occasionally be outages or interruptions caused by hosting providers, storage providers, database providers, network failures, software bugs, maintenance, or circumstances outside our control.

10. Account Suspension and Content Removal

We may need to restrict or suspend an account, or remove stored content, when reasonably necessary to:

Where practical, we will try to provide an explanation for a suspension or removal.

We will normally try to handle problems reasonably, but urgent security, abuse, or legal situations may sometimes require us to act without advance notice.

We do not routinely inspect private user projects. This service provides private storage rather than a public gallery or user-to-user sharing platform.

Content may be accessed when reasonably necessary for technical support, security investigation, abuse handling, account administration, or legal compliance.

Reports of unlawful content will be assessed and acted on as appropriate, including removing or restricting content or accounts. Relevant information may be reported to competent authorities where required or otherwise lawful and necessary. Users remain responsible for their uploads; this does not exclude obligations that applicable law places on the operator.

11. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated cloud projects from the account menu by entering your current password and confirming permanent deletion.

Deleting an account permanently removes its account record, cloud-project records, progress, policy acceptance record, and login sessions. All devices are signed out. Cloud images and thumbnails are removed as part of deletion; if image storage is temporarily unavailable, removal remains queued for automatic retry.

Deletion cannot be undone.

Some limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, enforcement, legal obligations, or resolving disputes.

Deleting your account does not remove local files or browser storage on your device.

12. Privacy

Our handling of account information and project data is described separately in the Privacy Notice.

The Service is designed to minimize the amount of personal information collected. Accounts work without requiring an email address. We do not sell account or project information or use it for advertising profiles. The service uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for aggregate usage and performance measurements as described in the Privacy Notice.

Infrastructure providers may process technical information as necessary to host the Service, database, files, and network traffic.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that the Service relies on third-party infrastructure providers.

13. Support Access

Wintira is currently the sole service administrator with access through Cloudflare. If you request help with a project or account, the operator may need to view limited account or project information. Infrastructure providers process information under their own operational arrangements.

This may include your account name, project names, project identifiers, dates, storage information, progress information, technical metadata, and—when necessary—the stored project image.

We try to avoid viewing the contents of private projects unless doing so is reasonably necessary to resolve the issue or investigate abuse.

14. Intellectual Property of the Tool

The Service’s original interface, code, branding, documentation, and other original material remain the property of their respective owner or author unless otherwise stated.

These Terms do not give users ownership of the Service itself.

Nothing in these Terms restricts rights that users may have under applicable open-source licenses for code that is separately released under such a license.

Third-party names, trademarks, games, mods, libraries, and other materials belong to their respective owners.

15. User Content Ownership

We do not claim ownership of your uploaded project images or other user-created content.

Your use of the Tool does not give us ownership of artwork you create with it.

Likewise, the Service does not determine whether a particular image is copyrighted, licensed, public domain, fan art, commissioned work, or otherwise legally usable.

You are responsible for your own use of that material.

16. No Warranty

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we cannot promise that:

Please verify important project results yourself and keep backups of work you do not want to lose.

Nothing in these Terms removes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service, including loss of project data, lost progress, lost time, unavailable cloud storage, corrupted exports, or interruption of access.

Because the Service is provided free of charge, it should not be relied on as your only storage or backup system.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by law.

18. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on third-party services for hosting, databases, object storage, security, analytics, or other infrastructure.

This may include providers such as Vercel and Cloudflare.

Those providers may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for outages or changes caused by third-party infrastructure providers, although we may make reasonable efforts to restore or migrate the Service when practical.

19. Security

We take reasonable measures intended to protect accounts and stored project data.

However, no internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.

If you believe your account has been compromised, or you discover a security vulnerability affecting the Service, please contact us.

We may invalidate sessions, reset credentials, temporarily disable features, or take other protective measures when necessary.

20. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated when the Service changes or when legal, security, hosting, or operational requirements change.

The current version and its last-updated date will be made available through the Service.

For significant changes, we may provide additional notice within the Tool.

Continuing to use the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

21. Ending the Service

You may stop using the Service at any time.

This is currently a free independent project. We intend to keep it running for as long as reasonably practical, but cannot promise continued operation, free access, or availability in its current form. We reserve the right to modify, limit, suspend, replace, or discontinue some or all of the service when necessary for cost, capacity, maintenance, security, legal, personal, or other operational reasons, subject to applicable law. Any future paid service would require clear pricing and an affirmative agreement before users are charged.

If we ever decide to permanently close the cloud-storage part of the Tool, we will make a reasonable effort to give users advance notice and time to download their projects whenever circumstances allow.

There may be situations where advance notice is not practical, such as urgent security, legal, or infrastructure problems.

22. Applicable Law and Your Rights

These Terms do not select a particular governing jurisdiction. Applicable law and jurisdiction are determined by the legal rules that apply to the service and any dispute.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights you may have under mandatory laws that apply to you.

If a dispute arises, we would prefer that you contact us first so that an informal solution can be attempted where practical.
